question
OK just a question for all you wonderfully smart US government people.... The Constitution states that we have certain unalianable rights given to us by our creator and that among these are "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Where did God give us these rights? Is this a truth from scripture or are we allowing our American identity to corrupt our thoughts and change what the Bible says. I don't know... I don't know that I can find a place that God gave us these rights. I know God promised hardships and trials but I am not sure about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. So US government students... can you explain this????Sunday, February 06, 2005
hi
Hey everyone,I am doing well... I have discovered that being an el ed major has wonderful perks!!! I started the weekend with a TON of coloring... Friday night I took my markers and my coloring out to the lobby to watch movies and hang out with other girls. Soon two other girls were coloring with me. Everyone wanted to color! By the time I went to bed on Friday night all my coloring was done. So Mare... you are not the only one to have helped with my homework.
Well my semester is still going well...
Right now I am really looking forward to spring break. Three of my friends and I are taking a train to New York City and staying in a youth hostel there for the week. I made reservations at the hostel last week and I will be making reservations for the train soon. So we will be in NYC for the week! It is going to be tons of fun! We are going to go see everything. I found out last week that as students we can go see Broadway plays for around $20. So hopefully we will go see one. We are talking about going to Phantom of the Opera. Oh and our hostel is RIGHT by Times Square so when we walk out our door every morning we will be in the heart of NYC. Oh and we will try to get on Good Morning America... so watch it March 7-12 and maybe you will see us.
